Default Carbs balance confusion!

Having recently been diagnosed as type II diabetic and with pcos I have done a lot of research but there seems to be one conflicting thing which causes confusion..

I have been told to up my carbs in my diet to help sort the diabetes but everything I read on pcos says to lower carbs..so where do I find a balance?

I thought I'd help you out.
There are basically 2 types of carbs - simple and complex. Simple is not good while complex is very good. Carbs are needed to provide you with energy but simple carbs are used by your body to provide a BURST of energy while complex provide slow and sustained energy. Think about the difference between a sprint (simple carb) and a marathon (complex).
As a diabetic you can and should eat plenty complex carbs but very little simple carbs (simple carbs include sugar). This means white bread - no, rice - no, cake - no, orange juice - very very little and only when your sugar levels are super low. All in all think about it this way, if it is processed and/or you cannot name a nutrient in it then it is not worth eating!!
Vegitables are all good, fruits are good too but only in moderation since they have sugar (the most dagerous simple carb for a diabetic).

In a sense they are correct - as a diabetic you should eat alot of bush - rabbit food - vegitables. When your sugar is low (this happens alot to my mom because she HATES to eat regular meals) you should eat or drink fruit juices to quickly bring your level back up.
