Wow, there seems to be a lot going on!

Kara ~ I would be so nervous too if I had to kiss someone on stage! YIKES! On the love front...I am glad things are working out with Steve, sorry he is so far away. On the other...some guys think they have to work that hard, iykwim. Or maybe he is just a very sweet guy at heart, but not a good conversationalist? Has good intentions/means well, iykwim. If you really aren't into him I would be straight forward before he does anything else - if he is doing that much maybe he is still thinking there is a chance and didn't read anything into the phone calls that fizzled.

Brooke ~ Hello! I hope you are feeling good. Sorry to hear about godparent issues. Say a lot of prayers, I am sure you will find the right person. Maybe discuss with your priest you are having a problem making a choice, he may be of some help in the matter.

MaryMicheal ~Glad to have you back! I was feeling the same way about a baby when this one happened, but DH was more worried about money, work, etc. I thought we were on the same page, but it turns out he just forgot I was in my fertile time - so much for planning. LOL But he is very happy about the baby and just still continues to worry about the other things.

I don't understand how anyone can complain about not having enough room, etc. I guess it comes down to their understanding - you can't possibly "get it" unless you have been there, iykwim. I try to remember that when people say certain things that really seem heartless - they just don't realize the other side of it.

Well, I am surviving a headcold. My #3 and I are the last to fall. LOL So, hopefully it should be well on the way out by the end of the week and I can get a bit more energy back. Had enough to get a few things done today including washing a pig - would anyone like to see if I can get the pic up here? I haven't done anything for awhile, so would need to sit and figure it out again. I don't look all that hot in the pic, no makeup, headcold, etc. LOL I will try to get it up soon.

Let me know if you can't see it, can't remember how I got it to show up last time. LOL But there I am, scrubbing a pig.

I meant to impress you all with my glamour shots I did for my DH a couple of years ago, but haven't gotten them downloaded into my photobucket yet. So, there I am as I "usually" am. LOL Will have to still get those others up sometime - OH! And the one of my BIG hair in highschool...remember that conversation? LOL

Hello There,

I was baptized Catholic but raised protestant (BIC) by my mother after my parents divorced when I was three, however my father's side of the family and my step dad are Catholic. When I was 14 I started to date someone that was Catholic and I became more interested in it. After we broke up when I was 16 I joined the RCIA program at the church my father's family attended. I also switched to a Catholic high school and fell in love with the faith even more.

I am in my third year of theology/pastoral counselling at a Catholic university in Ottawa, Ontario. I've had pcos since I was 12. I'm in a long term relationship with my boyfriend of four years. Currently my fears are of not being able to get pregnant since I plan on getting married in a couple years, but I knows God had a plan for me.

Being a theology student I don't think I could narrow down to choosing only one favourite part of the faith.

Praying for healing,

Rebekah

MaryMicheal ~ Thank you! It isn't the greatest picture of me, but then I didn't think I needed my hair and makeup done to scrub a pig. LOL

Krystin ~ Washing pigs is actually a lot of fun! LOL You just have to watch out for them stepping on your toes though, that doesn't feel too great. Especially when they weigh well over 200lbs! We all got a virus - my eldest goes back to school and back to the germs. LOL It is the common headcold, comes on like allergies only with the low-grade fever, headache, etc. and then it really wipes you out for a couple of days. I am finally feeling a bit more normal, I am hoping it will be gone by next week. We don't tend to get allergies. Where are you btw...I am in Washington State - if you are nearby you can come over and wash pigs before we take them into the butcher tomorrow. LOL

Rebekah ~ Welcome!!! It is such a wonderful thing you were able to "discover" your faith! What an amazing journey it is. Don't worry too much about being able to conceive - many of us on here have had our struggles, but despite that many of us are triumphing over PCOS. I hope you enjoy it here!

KARA! ROFLMBO The same thought crossed my mind when I realized where I was in the pic, but he turned around right after the shot - constantly on the move.

Welcome Rebekah!! I'm pretty new too...I am Krystin a wife and mama.. dh is USAF and I have 3 kids. I was DX while TTC #1, and am blessed to have 3 kids and would LOVE to add to the brood. We live in OH now, but have lived in Montgomery, AL (dd #1 born here), Riyadh, Saudi Arabia (dd #2 born here), Seattle, WA before here...

Tam, where in WA are you?? I would LOVE to go back, we lived in Kent for a year while dh did a training w/ Boeing in Seattle. I would move back in a heartbeat. I don't think it is in the USAF plan for us tho... *giggle* We live in Dayton, OH now. Let me tell you, it isn't WA! ;oP It does have festivals tho..

Krystin ~ I am on the eastside just about an hr. and a half south of Spokane. I live right on the edge of the WA desert! LOL Let me tell you, that is as close as I ever want to be. I need green and trees...rolling hills...LOL If you ever have an excuse to head this direction let me know and maybe we can hook up! Maybe next summer and then you can help wash pigs. LOL

I do kwym about this area - I was born and raised about 20miles east of where I live now and I couldn't imagine living anywhere else (except maybe Idaho or Montana).

Hi, Ladies!

How is everyone! Welcome to the newcomers!

I've been busy this week with Mary Kay and teaching music. PLUS, yesterday was my birthday, so there's been a lot of celebrating, and more to come! I have had a difficult week, in the sense that I haven't felt well all week. My charting has been a bit unusual, having started the clomid last week. I'm not used to so many green stickers on my chart! Doc said that if I have 19 days of green stickers in a row, that I need to take a pg test. So we'll see--I'm keeping my fingers crossed & praying! It was wierd tonight at dinner, when I was out with my DH for my birthday, that I suddenly felt very wierd in my stomach area, having only eaten a salad so far. It felt like painful gas, but I don't think it was gas...no telling what it was. I managed to get through dinner okay--even all the way to dessert! Maybe I'm just overly tired from not sleeping enough lately!

I found out today that one of my friends from high school is going to have her third baby! I was really happy for her, but inside I was saying "when is it going to be MY turn?!?!" I have two other close friends who are having trouble conceiving; one of them has PCOS, and the other just for some reason can't have children--so she's adopted two kids. So at least I'm not alone in my circle of friends here locally!

Tam, it's nice to put a name with a face! Have I ever told you my pig story--the one with my cousins' farm in GA? It's really hilarious!

Kara, you are so cute! I know you must be a lot of fun to be around! I hope I can meet you someday! Good luck with the play! I know you'll do great!

Carrie

Nice pic! lol.

Welcome Rebekah.

I hope all works out for you Carrie!!!!!!!!

AF showed her face today. Grrrr. Not that I had much hope of conceiving since DH and I were leading a youth camp the weekend I was ovulating. Blast! One more cycle and than it will be clomid for me. At least now my boobs will deflate and stop hurting. Always looking at the positive side!
