Yeah, she has a lot of good medical knowledge. But using NPC is something a woman with PCOS CAN do, without a whole lot of worries about royally screwing herself up, esp since PCOS already has her so screwed up hormonally to start with.
I'm just avoiding her posts (she's not on this board). I will just avoid her for a while, and then I can start reading her again without feeling llike I want to be a really snarky "witch" (don't know if it is hormonal, or just my temperment lately, but frankly, I just want to slap her sometimes...it passes, but ykwim).
SIGH
Feels good to get it off of my chest in a forum where you don't want to hurt some one, really, but they are just temporarily driving you MAD!
LOL

BTW, I'm gonna be stalking your chart the next week or so...

LOL
I told DH this morning that we may "need to buy a bigger van" (we currently have a 7 seater 2003 Odyssey). And that he may be getting his bday gift 9mos late. That made him laugh. LOL I am glad that he laughed and smiled about it. I was concerned that he wouldn't be happy about the possibility.
Please continue praying for us. We're very tight with the funds right now, and we are hanging on prayers. We need the VA decision asap after DH's final examination on Weds morning. So, if you can pray that the decision comes quickly, and in our favor, I would appreciate it. Shoot, add us to your mass intentions, put us in the parish book of intercessions, you name it. I'd appreciate it.

My Mood: Points: 1,867.12 Bank: 0.00 Total Points: 1,867.12 | Hey Juststartn, my sis has 7 kids, and just recently got one of those customized vans...looks nice to me, and they seem to be enjoying it!
As an update about myself, my bleeding has tapered down ALOT, so thank you to everyone and anyone who was praying for me. I don't know if it has to do with the fact that I stopped taking my Metformin two days ago. Did anyone else have that happen? I noticed a decrease in my flow when I accidentally missed a few doses, then missed a whole day, so I thought I'd try it for a second day...seems to be working, so I'll have to watch and see how I fare. Even though this is partly good news, I am having some slight abdominal pain on one side.
I've got that appointment with the endocrinologist on July 1st, so who knows what's going to happen by then. Keep praying please!
Why is it that so many people don't seem to understand that sometimes you can't control how you gain/lose weight so quickly due to PCOS? *sigh* I have been very frustrated by my relatives, and can't escape the looks or comments. Lord, help me stay patient.
Keeping you all in my prayers.

I think one of my sisters has PCOS, but I haven't gotten a chance to talk to her about it (she lives out of state, is a single mother, and is always traveling for her job). But she and I have both battled our weight over the past 10-12 yrs-- I'm not sure about any other symptoms she might have....
It is difficult dealing with the comments sometimes, when you're 40+lbs above the weight you were 13 yrs ago, and it never seems to go down without practically starving yourself...
SIGH

We (ok more me then Kyle) fell away from going to church, praying, etc after our last m/c in January. I put a lot of blame on God that shouldn't have been there. I've started talking to our priest again and he has helped me out of the dark cave I was in. I went to church this past Sunday for the first time since February and felt good to be back there and the sermon spoke on forgiveness...it was like I was meant to choose that Sunday to be back.
My information is in my siggy.

Rachel - wow! I've been praying and will keep it up. When it rains it pours huh?
Tam - I think on the alternative remedies board there was a thread about apple cider vinegar. If you do a web search you'll find it cures everything from bad breath to bad personalities... But I think it's helping me NOT gain weight since I've stopped taking metformin.
In very good news - Steven got a job in Ann Arbor!! So he's moving up here in about a week and a half and we will never have to say goodbye again. Sigh, I'm so happy.

I had this nice temp dip, but in overlaying my pregnancy charts, 8dpo seems to be a common day for me to have a dip. We'll see tomorrow morning if it goes back up. Here's to hoping...
DHs VA apptmt (his last) went really well, and the dr told him that he should have a percentage within 30-45 days, which means sometime between mid-late July. Which means we'll either be getting our money in August (if it comes in mid-July) or September (if it comes in late July).
Please, keep up the prayers on our behalf ladies....

My Mood: Points: 668.04 Bank: 1,212.60 Total Points: 1,880.63 | Hi, Ladies!
Just thought I'd check in, since it's been a while! All of you have been in my prayers. Anne, of course you can come back! I'm so sorry for your loss! Be comforted in knowing that your four little ones are praying for you in Heaven right now!
Just when my doctor lowered my Metformin dosage and I thought everything was "hunky dorey", he decided to up it back to 500 mg 2x a day! He said that my charting wasn't looking right to him. Oh, well! I am losing weight, however, thanks to wonderful Weight Watchers! Over 30 lbs. to date!!
Chris & I are trying to find a new place to live, as we are tired of living in an apartment! Our lease runs out at the end of August. Ideally, we'd like to buy a house. Please keep us in your prayers regarding that, as we have to figure out what to do by the end of this month, so that we can give the leasing office notice!
Kara, I'm so happy for you & Steve! I can't wait until the news of your engagement comes around!
How is everyone else doing?
Blessings,
Carrie

Points: 6,045.41 Bank: 140,306.74 Total Points: 146,352.15 | I dunno if things are working out as I had hoped this month--my temp dropped below the coverline this am (to 98.1). I didn't put it into FF, as when I did, it said it couldn't give me a coverline/etc. I did put it into the notes so I can go back and re-enter it later if I wish to...
But I am still praying for a temp rise and a BFP poas in a few more days (I figure I will test (assuming I make it that long) around 13-14dpo.
I have been praying that whatever happened, I would be 'at peace' with it. Sigh. At first I was a little, well, ambivalent...let's face it, *right now* we are not in a great place financially--in 9 mos, sure, we should be fine. But right now...well, its stressful. As the days have passed, I've been more and more at peace with the possibility/likelihood of a wee one...to the point where thinking that I am *not* makes me sad....
Just, if you could, please pray that I will be at peace and accepting of whatever God's will is for our family in this...
Rachel (who had gotten attached to the idea of a February baby)

Points: 6,045.41 Bank: 140,306.74 Total Points: 146,352.15 | Well, my temp was the same this am, but I changed my FF charting method to the Advanced, rather than the FAM, so I still have a coverline...not that that is any big deal, but FAM was causing me to lose my O date, too.
Anywho, :the girls: are feeling a bit tender/heavy today, something that they don't do prior to AF. I won't test for another couple of days...Only have two more $ store POAS left makes me reluctant to try too early, iykwim. Plus, I've been waking alot at night needing to go to the bathroom/take care of things, so I'd really like to wait another day or two to make sure I've got a good build up before I use a test...
Sigh. Please pray for me. We're going to try to all go to Mass tomorrow...stress stress stress. We'll actually have to try the "cry room" cause the boys very quickly reach the "PUT ME DOWN WOMAN!!!!" stage.....sigh. And are very vocal about their displeasure....sigh. It was one thing when DH had a good back, and there were only three little people--only one of whom we needed to corral...Of course, I don't know that we will actually make it, all of us. We'll have to see how things go tonight...
If you can pray for me, for the next couple of days, I'd appreciate it...
Thanks
Rachel

WEnt to Mass by myself, as DH's back was bad and I had to have two of the dds help move 1/2 of our chickens to another pen (they were pecking the behinds of the others in the pen they were in...).
Anyway, on to another cycle...

They found out this morning that they have lost their second baby in a row (they have seven dc already, but these two losses have been within six months or so of each other, and are very very hard to take).
Prayers would be appreciated. I believe that she has named the baby "Matthew".
Thanks...these are devout Catholics, so they have the peace of knowing their wee one is well in God's hands. But still...
