Wow, so many possibilities and yet we'll probably never know for sure. I think all of this is a culmination of many things that are starting to show up in our generation. For example, radiation exposure (back in the day-early 1900's) when xrays were discovered they used to have xray machines outside of dept stores and for a dime or whatever you could stand on it and get xrayed. People did this all day for entertainment. I mean WTF!! We now know that effects of xrays and other radiation exposures damage cells and effects can show up generations later in the form of cancers and other genetic abnormalities. Then there is mercury, chemicals in our food, poor nutrition overall in the form of all the processing and pesticides used on our fruits and vegetables and hormones in our meat and dairy. Me and both of my sisters have PCOS and a host of autoimmune disorders between us. My mother and stepfather both worked for a chemical company. This company was one of the main employers in my small town. I could smell the bromine on them every day. I even worked there as an intern during the summer. And now I'm an xray tech and work around radiation. LOL But the radiation thing is fascinating to me and most people don't know how dangerous all their Cat scans really are since all exposure is cumulative over a lifetime. Defensive medicine has really messed us up! But I digress. I know I'm rambling but this topic just fascinates me altogether because of all the fertility problems that me and my sisters have. And our parents and aunts and uncles etc have never had any fertility issues. I have a HUGE family. So why us? Why our generation? I think it's a combination of any or all of the things mentioned in this thread.
