Thread: CBEFM and progesterone

I am taking prometrium to start AF and my cbefm still asked for a stick today so I poas and it showed peak. Does anyone know if prometrium will give you a high rating on your cbefm..or could I actually be ovulating?

I just did some research to find out what Clear blue doesn't want you to know. The test sticks are exactly the same as an OPK. The two lines on the test sticks are for estrogen and your LH surge. Farthest from the wic... estrogen... closest LH surge. Take at look at your stick if you still have it. If the area closest to the stick is dark and the line farthest is light that is signally your LH surge. You could very well just being have a Very late ovulation.

The monitor is not as sophisticated as they want you to think. The machine reads the two lines and their comparison to the white background and then determines your fertility status. If you stick has any blue line smudges that can throw it off too!

Thank you, yeah I have been searching everywhere for an answer. The 2 lines are very close in color..more than I have ever seen. I just don't know if the prometrium could of some how caused it.

When did you start the prometrium?

I started prometrium 2 days ago. I just called the clear blue customer service and they said prometrium will not interfer with the results.

So... you might need some extra pills... looks like you getting ready to O girl!
