I've got to admit I've had enough of AF this cycle! I usually have to take Provera to start a cycle so this is the first month that AF has come with the aid of Met. I took Clomid last cycle (but induced AF with the Provera). AF lasted for six days (two with heavy flow) and should have been gone by Monday, but I have been having brown (old blood) spotting on the TP for the past five days (sorry..tmi).

Has anyone had this long of a stretch of AF when first starting AF? I have had no pain (such as cysts bursting) or cramping. I'm not sure what to make of it. Most people report a shorter AF with the Met, but could this be my systems way of adjusting to it?

I wish that I could help you there...

My cycles were "regular" but my AF was a good 14 days long...EVERY MONTH! I bled like a stuck pig (sorry TMI) for 3 days, then I spotted for the rest of the time. It was agrivating to say the least...

Of course, I'm also hypothyroid and that affects AF too...

Hopefully someone else can help you here...
