Question CD9, Clomid 50 mg, ovary pain? Normal?

HI. Please help-I dont want to call the Dr's office for nothing....

I am on CLomid 50 mg days 5-9, today is day 9 but I dont take it until 10 pm.

Earlier today my right side ( I think my ovary is there- was "hurting" nothing bad but I felt it.
Now my left side is hurting a bit. It isnt stopping and if it does, it comes back. Is this the build-up to ovulation? I dont go to the Dr until Cd11 which is Wed. What is this pain??? (ok it doesnt hurt exactly-but it is weird feeling. Its annoying and I feel kinda warm).

I dont know if this makes sense or not-it doesnt hurt ( like real pain, or like cramps from AF) its twinges I guess??? Its under my belly button area-to the sides where I think ovaries are??

Anyone??? Sorry to bother you with such a stoud problem!

I had pain with my Clomid cycle, too, but it happened later in the cycle. I took Clomid cd 5-9, and on cd 21, I was told that I had not O'ed. I started having this really sharp popping pain shortly after that--it would occassionally be in the center, but most often on either side, where you would expect an ovary to be. The pain would be so sharp that I'd think OMG! I have to go to the hospital for this pain! (Yeah, I'm dramatic!) Then the pain would be gone.

A few weeks after the pain started, I got a BFP, so I've always thought that the pain was caused by either implantation or, since my ovaries looked "normal" during pg ultrasounds, by the cysts popping and going away. At the time, before I knew I was pg, I hoped that the pain was caused by my ovaries getting stirred up and maybe starting to work!

I hope you feel better soon, and that your discomfort does lead up to an O and a BFP!

I get pain with clomid tooo, usually by day 10 (take it 3-8). Some times it is intense, told the doc and she said that is normal, and nothign to worry about unless it is too much

I also had pain while taking clomid. Im currently on cycle day 20. I immediatly called the doctors office and spoke to one of his many nurses. She informed me it could just be me ovulating, and my body releasing the eggs. She said on a normal period you wouldnt feel it so much because your body doesnt have medication to assist in this process.

I wish you luck, and don't worry im sure its all fine. If you do get severe enough pain i'd advise you to be a worry-a-holic like myself and possibly bother your doctors office by asking if its normal..

**Good luck and Baby Dust**
