Anyone out there from the Central NY/Upstate area? In this neck of the woods, there are only three Reproductive Endocrinologists. There is one in particular who makes it seem like he's the only game in town. However, it would take many months to even get a first appointment, so I opened up the phone book to look for an alternative...(no thanks to my OB/GYN who is now my former OB/GYN!).
I highly recommend Dr. Daniel Levine -- he's a teaching doctor with SUNY Upstate/University hospital in Syracuse, NY. This particular hospital doesn't have a huge budget for advertising, so this practice is like a big secret!
I have always had women doctors. It was nervewracking to know that my only choices for an R.E. were male. However, Dr. Levine has made a big effort to make me (and my husband) feel totally comfortable. I would recommend him without a single hesitation...
