PBLayzod- I'm not even sure that I have found mine either, cause I have no idea what I'm looking for!
Stacey88- I just found another thread on SC that is actually pretty entertaining and informative, check it out: Cervix Position Question
btw, the book is awesome! It's a big book and not so fun to read, but it really breaks it down for you- definitely a good buy!

omg i absolutely love this book, of course this is coming from someone who thought you could get pregnant while actually on your period, so this was a real eye-opener for me!!! I enjoyed reading it, but I think thats cause I really had very little knowledge about anything w/this. It really helps you to have a hand's on approach with learning about yourself. I do wish there was a bigger section on pcos, but it helps you to realize if you're even ovulating even though you have pcos or endo, or anything else. But I'm with you on the cervix thing. I can always find it, but it always feels the same though to me, so I don't know if it changes. Good luck w/the charting!

Yeah I was wondering about that myself. I went 4 PAP yesterday and DR told me that my cervix was really high up there and needed a longer speculum and asked me if i've had that problem before. I was like, "UH NO!" that was a new one on me. So she proceeded to have a pregnancy blood test done just in case. I don't think I am but I guess we'll see. I'm definately gonna check out that book. I think i'm in the dark on this whole cervix positioning thing. I NEVER knew there was a difference.
Lilly, I know it took me a few cycles to feel the actual difference in CP. I know that I can expect it to be low, hard, closed right before AF and right after. cd 14 or 15 used to reveal a CP that was so high I could barely even feel my cervix. And then it was so wet and open.....it's not going to happen over night. Give it a couple cycles.
PS....TCOYF is the BEST book ever when learning about your body, conception, and natural family planning!

In search of FACE TIME with NKOTB on their FULL SERVICE summer tour 2009!!! See ya in Jones Beach, NY, Detroit, MI, Cinci, OH, & lastly partying like theres no tomorrow in Houston for the last show of the tour! I LOVE NKOTB!
well this is what I have learned.
High-you are at your most fertile. it may be so high that you can't find it. if you can, it might be wet and open., and soft. this means you are very fertile.
low and hard means you are not fertile.
my question is how do you know if it is open?

I have learned loads from the TCOYF book, I understand now how a low position of the cervix, just before your cycle starts and when having sex can explain the pain sometimes if dh not gentle...when I mentioned the changes he seemed to know more than I did ...get the fellas reading it too! A whole new conversational topic I say!
