What position is your cervix supposed to be at the begining of AF??
I just got some spotting & I'm expecting AF, but my cervix is extremely high right now...is that normal?

It normally should be low & more closed at the beginning of your cycle, high & wide open around O, then low again & closed at the end of your cycle. Are you used to checking the cervix? If not, it might just feel high but will get even higher... almost unreachable... around O time. Also, the spotting might be O spotting & you are just in for a longer cycle this time around. Hmm... I don't know any other explanations for why it would be high around AF. Maybe someone else knows.

I thought it should be low. I don't usually check my cervix, I just noticed when I went to insert a tampon that it just kept going and going and seemed to get lost up there (sorry tmi)...usually it will hit my cervix. I know a high cervix could be an early sign of pregnancy and my temp did not drop today like I would expect before AF, so I guess I'm just hoping this might be implantation spotting and not actual AF.

Susan ~ Thanks, but unfortunately I got my temp drop & AF this morning *sigh*. I guess the temp drop was just a little behind this time around.
