Question Change my cycle for vactation with Provera

In November my doctor prescribed Provera to get my period started again and to ensure that I have one once a month. He has me taking them on the 11th through the 17th of each month and I usually start on the 19th.

My question is, can I change the date that I take the Provera in order to change the date of my period? I'm taking a little vacation for spring break the week of the 20th and again July 15th through the 23rd. I just don't want to have to deal with my period during that time, ya know?

Does anyone know if this would be a problem or should I just call my doctor?

Hi,

I have done that once.. but there is nothing stoping your body from doing it naturally if it wants to but it did work for me. I dont know how healthy it is but Id probley do that same thing if I was going on vacation.

I suppose yes if you changed the dates you took the tablets then this should alter when your period should start.. my answer would be yes anyways, but double check with other replies on this.
