Finally went in to see an RE today instead of just my regular dr. and he is switching me from regular met to ext. release and upping my dose from 1000 a day to 1500. Has anyone else ever switched from one to another? Wondering what havoc might be in store for me. Will I get to just go along as I have been or do I get a new round of adjustment s/e? I still have several days left of the old met, upping to 1500 with that and then starting the ext. release once I'm out.
He also gave me a round of Provera, said my progesterone cream just isn't strong enough to work fully. AF started this morning about 2 hours before my appt., he says that should run it's normal course, I'll get a few days off, then the provera will induce another stronger AF...oh goodie...
