Changing my pill

I'm currently on Dianette (combined pill), but am unhappy about the links with depression. I want to change my pill (plus it feels like my body is telling me I should) but don't know which one to go for.

I cannot use any other form of contraception, and I'm aware that my cycle isn't going to be accurate while I'm taking artificial hormones.

i'm in the same boat as you,
i'v just finished my second month and i'm noticing a slip in my moods already.

i'm due to go back for a check up with the doc in a week so i'm gonna discuss it with her then.

i'll let you know what happens

I had horrible problems with depression when I was taking Yasmin after DD was born. I switched back to Alesse (had taken it in the past) and have had no problems since that time.

foostar, i was on diane-35 for a while and i do not feel that it exacerbated my depression. i have pre-existing anxiety and mood disorder issues and while i did begin taking it during a depressive phase, it didn't appear to make my moods worse. and my moods have been pretty much the same since switching back to ortho-tri-cyclen.

i am about to start yasmin tomorrow; i guess we'll see what kind of effect it has on me.
