chart-friendly doctors

I already posted my specific request for a chart-friendly doctor in LA. But I haven't gotten any responses. I was wondering what are the general experiences other cysters have with charting and your doctors?

What percentage of OB/GYNs are open to charting?
Does your doctor look at you like you are crazy?
Can you ask doctors before you go?
Do you think it is important for your doctor to know that you are charting?
