I'm charting for the first time in awhile. Using a BBT orally at the same time every morning. I took clomid 100mg days 5-9 this cycle and am on Metformin 1000mg daily. I've been taking metformin for a little over 2 months now. I had a positive OPK on both 9/6 and 9/7 it was negative today. I'm currently on cd 19 and for the past 3 days my temp has been slowly rising.

Can I still O with slow rising temps? Or does it have to spike a lot? Is the "spikyness" of my chart a bad thing? Do I have any hope of actually having already ovulated? My fertility signs really pointed to O yesterday High open cervix EWCM etc. Not so much today.

A slow rise is fine, and I'd actually guess you may have O'ed yesterday. Of course you won't know for sure until you've entered a few more temps. Good luck!!

If it helps at all...I ovulated on CD19(clearly +OPK) which was a Thursday after clomid CD5-9, I temped through Saturday and still never had a spike, not even a rise. I quit temping because we were going on vacation and I vowed to relax. I had read that it can take several days to see the "spike" so I thought nothing of it. Well it worked because I got my BFP that month. So try and relax (I know SO much easier said than done)! Good Luck and tons of baby dust !
