I just did a quick run of media on PCO (s) on You Tube. Lots of people there are reaching out to tell you..well that we are not alone. I wanted to post the links but apparently I am not active enough. Oh well.

A Discovery Channel Mystery Diagnosis Story:
This one reminded me of my childhood; except these folks were rich enough to get better care for their daughter. The family's and doctor's emphasis on the weight issue is a tad exhausting but typical of mainstream media.
You can tell these are average people dealing with the average mindset about weight issues in an average compassionate manner. I sent it to my mom to help her remember what a hard time we had with our country doctor and my problems as a teen. This could be useful to explain to people what PCOS is.

And there are more brave stories of beautiful brave women who have one thing in common; everyone blamed them for their situation, they were told to loose weight, and they feel like that has limited their life. I want to hug them all.
