Question Chemical pg?

Anybody have any info on this? I searched the threads but didn't find much. What happened is this.. I should have started AF on Saturday, but on thursday when I woke up, I noticed I was bleeding already, but not heavily. Chalked it up to being early, went on about my business. Well, come Friday morning, I had bled so much overnight that I had overflowed my divacup to the point that it looked like I had killed someone. Considering the cup holds 1oz, and there was more than that all over me, that was easy 2 or 2.5 oz total. Then friday, back to the very light stuff, and then just very slight brown discharge until Sunday. Now today, I'm having nasty cramps, again, and its starting to get on my nerves! I talked to a couple people who said that it sounds more like a chemical pg than anything, especially since that totally does NOT follow my normal pattern in any way, and it was all said and done before AF was even due. And yes, I do have very very regular periods. So, all in all, what's going on here?! Any input would be greatly appreciated. TIA guys...

I've never experienced this. Have you taken a HPT? It should still be positive if you're M/C or if this was a chemical pregnancy. I'm sorry I can't help more.

Actually, I had taken a hpt on Wednesday morning, knowing full well it would most likely be negative, but I couldn't resist. that was CD 11, so I wasn't surprised or disappointed, knew that it was probably too early.

I've had 2 confirmed chemical pregnancies, both lost at 18 DPO. They were more like heavy periods. My cramps were heavier than usual the first 2 days, and there were more (pardon my bluntness) clots in the bleeding, especially in the first few days. I've compiled some information on chemical pregnancies; if you PM me with your email address I'll send it to you.

So sorry for what you are going through right now...

I'm sorry you're having a bad time.
Without a positive test now or before, you probably didn't have a conception that became a chemical pregnancy. I would chalk this one up to really messed up hormones/pcos. It's wise to call the doctor, though, because you are usually very predictable.
Good luck!

Ugh, such a complicated system our bodies are! So much to go so very very wrong. At least with me... and I've been talking to the girls on the lottting factor board, that also could explain some of the problems I've been having..I have a history of pretty nasty blood clots, one that almost killed me 5 years ago. As saluki_fan told me, I really should be taking an aspirin a day, but for some reason, I don't...but I started today, and I promise to continue! Have a good day ladies!

Default chemical pregancny

I've had two chemical pregnancy's one I'm going through right now. I just call them early m/c because that is really what they are. With both of mine I had positive hpt but only on the early detection ones. They were confirmed by md with quant hcg. So I think defenitley you would probably see a positive test at least for a day or two. I watch my body so carefully seems like I know I'm pregnant before the test does. But I would call the doctor and see what they say.

I called them today, they were supposed to call me back once I got off work, but I haven't heard back yet. I called the answering service to see why. Maybe I can get something figured out, I've felt all kinds of crappy this week.
