Default Chemical pregnancy?

Hi There, I was hoping someone could give me some advice. Last Tuesday after feeling strange for a couple of days, I took an hpt that was faintly positive. On Wednesday morning I got 3 more postitves all darker than the day before but still not as dark as the control line. Thursday I got up and took two more tests that were both extremely faint, fainter than on the very first day. I went to the doctor on Thursday morning and explained everything to him, he said that there was a possibility that I could be pregnant and maybe just very early on as my last period was on April 4th. He also explained that alot of woman have a chemical pregnancy and never actuallly knew that they were pregnant. I have done a test every day since then and they have all been negative. Do you think this sounds like a chemical pregnancy, I think that it might be. I have also begun to convince myself that maybe the positive tests were somehow faulty. My head is all over the place at the moment and I just don't know what to think. The only thing that is making me feel better is that, if this is a chemical pregnancy, then I know that I can get pregnant, which was a very big worry of mine, I though that I would never be able to get pregnant. Then I start thinking what if I was never pregnant and by some cruel twist of fate I got faulty tests that made me think I was, do you think that this could be a possibility? I know I am rambling and I apologise, I would just be so grateful for any advice anyone might have.

Carrie

I feel for you, Carrie. I too, had a :"chemical" pregnancy. Don't doubt that you were pregnant.....egg and sperm definitely hooked up. For whatever reason, though, the cells stopped dividing and didn't progress. I guarantee your pregnancy tests were legitimate.

I'm so sorry. (((((((HUGS)))))))))
