Default Chemical Pregnancy

Hello
Just wanting to see if anyone has experienced a chemical pregnancy. I just found out today that I most likely had one. I just went through an IUI with 3 follies after taking injectibles. I took a pregnancy test on Saturday night and got a very faint postive but today my test was negative. I had a blood test done today and my hcg was only 6. I have read a little bit about it on the internet but didn't know if anyone had one or any insight on it. I of course was upset today with the results but would rather have it happen early on than later on in the pregnancy.

OMG. I'm wondering the same thing. I had clomid/IUI/IUI cycle again this month--see my sig. RE told me to test on Friday (14 dp trigger) because I had a spotting episode and saw faint positive but am now thinking it was remnants of trigger shot even thought they say 14 days past trigger, should have been more than enough to go out of my system. Today (CD29), my HPT was negative. I have felt no early PG symptoms. They want me to come in tomorrow for a bloodtest, so I am curious if I have any beta #s. I'll be following this to see how others respond. I'm figuring it just didn't work and will get my AF in the next day or so--we shall see I guess. SUCH FUN, HUH???? Sux. Good luck to you.

I'm very sorry for your loss! I had a five week loss, just days longer than your teensy one(s). It is still impossible to ever meet that little unique individual, so I do feel the loss of that baby... It is your own journey, and don't think it needs to be one way or another. I hope you don't feel as much pain as some, but just don't hold back if you do. It will manifest itself somehow, at some point, so if you are needing to vent or find a way to cope, go ahead and do it.

(((Hugs)))

I'm pretty sure I had one too. I took 3 HPT got faint BFP, Sunday, Tuesday, WEdnesday, they never got darker and when I took a 4th on the following Sat, it was BFN, AF started 2 days later. The cramping was similar to my m/c 2 years prior. I wish I hadn't tested early, I may never have figured it out. I was absolutely devastated to see the BFN after almost a week of BFP, plus it was Christmas day and I was going to give the HPT to DH as a surprise, the surprise was on me.

((HUGS)) I don't know much about them other than our bodies produced the hhg hormone to get the BFP. I'm chalking it up to a bad egg.

I recently suffered a Chemical PG and when the doctor told me what it was, I thought he was joking. I just assumed that it was an improper result from the HPT. That was number 7 for me in 10 years.

Unhappy My experience with chemical pregnancy.

I have had 2 chemical pregnancies along with 2 actual pregnancies. My Dr did not refer to them as chemical pregnancies, he called them ghost or phantom pregnancies. I misscarried on both my other pregnancies. A set of twins (boy and girl) and a single. I understand where you are coming from.

I had the symptoms of pregnancy and faint positives on tests but was never shown with an ultrasound that i was pregnant. Except for the two actual ones.

Lots of luck to you all.
