I am sure this has been posted before, but since I just came across it today I'm going to share
If you are interested in seeking treatment for PCOS this might be something to look into.
Women with PCOS interested in a treatment trial We are studying how PCOS increases the risk for heart disease. We are looking for women with PCOS or irregular periods. This study involves several different treatments over six months. All women will receive a personalized, dietitian supervised weight loss program at no charge. You may be eligible to participate whether you live in the Chicago area, or anywhere in the United States. Participation in this research study would require that you come to Northwestern Memorial Hospital to have a blood draw and other tests. There are additional studies that you may be interested in learning about.
