Hi- Im dying to try laser hair removal (getting married and dont want to be self conscious). I found a place in my area (Vernon Hills) that does it, but they seem really pricey ($1000 for 4 full face treatments, $600 for 4 chest). Can you recommend anywhere else? I live in the n suburbs but will drive into the city.

I went to the Laser Center in Elmhurst. This is not to be confused with the American Laser Center chain!
The initial consultation was free and I was able to get right in a couple of days later for treatment for my chin and neck.
It was 250.00 for the treatment and by far the best money I have ever spent. I have been shaving since I was 16, tried electrolysis, etc. and in one treatment I do not have to shave my chin or neck any longer.

It's been 3 weeks so I have quite a ways to go before I will know if I need treatment in the same area again at 10 weeks. I was told I would probably need a series of 4-6.

They have tons of lasers and to be honest I do not even know which one they used. I told them I had an Epilight series that didn't work years ago and so they chose one with a cool touch.

I am currently waiting for my 4th treatment at American Laser Centers in Naperville.They charge anywhere from 1500-1800 for 6 full face treatments. After 6 if you need more,it's freefor 2yrs. But you have to go the full 6 treatments.
