Dh called from work and has asked me to make some soup he can take for lunches this week. I'm thinking chicken soup..... Any good recipes with brown rice???

Thank you Eva. It seems like it should be so easy, chicken soup recipe. But I'm having trouble too. lol! Maybe I'll just make one up and see how it turns out. The only thing I'm leery about is the brown rice..... It should be fine in the soup right??

yes, i would think rice would be fine in a soup. Ive done it before... if you feel a bit unsure, maybe you could cook the rice first and then add it in.... just a thought pl let me know how it goes on.

You guys are great!! Thank you for all your help! I did find a recipe that I've cooked and it smells good..... Will let you know tomorrow how it tastes, having it for lunch. It was so easy to make too! Has chicken, carrots, celery, onions, garlic, brown rice, and seasonings.
