I reckon there's nothing to beat shaving with a top-quality men's electric shaver -- I like the Norelco models around the top of their range.

Personally, if there aren't too many hairs, and you can manage to pluck or bleach, I would stick to that.

Shaving was the single biggest mistake I ever made when it came to taking care of my excess hair. If I had one wish, it would be to have managed the plucking/bleaching/waxing. Yes, it takes more time, but it wasn't as hard on my skin as shaving has become. You don't have to deal with all of the obvious bumps and stubble that shaving leaves behind.

You might consider laser treatment or electrolosis, but only once you're on something to manage your hormones.

Take care.

Not sure if you're in the US, but have you heard of Surgi - Cream?
It's cheap, and works well, I use it on my upper lip hair.
It may be a pain, but are the hairs you speak of "pluck - able"?
I just pluck the dark ones right out.

I just pluck the ones that are thick and black.

The softer dark ones I am leaving alone until I can get some bleach and try that out. I was waxing them but if the bleaching works I'll just bleach and trim them.

Plucking works great especially if you don't have a whole lot of facial hair. Make sure you exfoliate your face often so you don't get any ingrown hairs.
