Well, we had a big fall last Friday (there's a thread on the Mommy board about how much of a bad mama I am) but it's pretty much healed! The glue on her eye fell off overnight & there's just a little bit left on her eye w/ a red line which will hopefully heal! And Aimee's also teething major right now...she's been cutting all her molars & all her canine's since before Christmas which is painful! Other than that nothing new...we have our 15 month appt on Friday & I'm waiting to hear from our HS agency about our 6 month PP (which I'm sure will happen after 6 months if I know our HS agency which makes me REALLY mad b/c that report affects our adoption agency, not our HS agency if we're late getting it to CCAA!).
Hope everyone is doing well!

Aimee is 32.5" & 22 lb, 15.5 oz! The dr said she's right on track to be 5'6"-5'10" & 120 lbs...perfect model-type (her words, not ours)...so not like her mama! She said she's also advanced as she can do most things 2 yo's are starting! I'm so proud of our little girl! Of course, I have a feeling she'll be in overalls or one-piece outfits for a while b/c 12 month stuff fits her but is too short & 18 month stuff is too big in the waist but fits in the length perfectly! She had an 18 month 1-piece outfit on today & it looked like it fit her perfectly. Her eye is also pretty much healed! The glue stuff fell off & there's a small red line but other than that everything's perfect!
Ava is still 22 pounds but is slowing being able to wear 18 month stuff...she will be 2 !!! in a month and a bit LOL I love our peanuts !
Glad to hear Aimee's eye is improving even more Traci Good job healing her up

well my husband and I have started talking about another child...we are considering Vietnam very seriously... anyone heard anything about the program...agencies?...ugh..the paperwork is depressing to consider again
We've been talking about another child as well but that'll have to wait until we've moved, settled, finally sold our house (moving w/o selling), & saved more $$!
You can go on RQ boards to check out about Vietnam, I'm sure others on there have or are adopting from there!

I have heard Vietnam has a great program if you can get in there...its pretty backed up with all the US people flocking there from China..
We too would have loved to have gone Vietnam route...

Am I being overly sensitive, or does it seem like the anti-China sentiment is really rising lately? It scares me for what our girls may have to face in the future. I hear some of the most ludicrous things being said, and it seems like people will believe almost anything if it's prefaced with "I heard that in China.."

There has been alot of product coming out of China that hasnt been too great but with us being there and seeing just how they live and know that the majority of Chinese citizens are fabulous people just trying to make a living the best they are told how...we forgive a little...
I have not idea at this point how it will affect our kids...I hope that China will catch up to the rest of us in terms of what can harm people like lead etc .. I always think about the people there making the items and what they are exposed too...scares me ! those poor people !
