I know we flip flopped between China and Kaz for a while (we have some time before I am 30) but with Kaz's apeal on the negative side (length of time in Kaz, the $$ amount more for a girl etc) we have decided its not for us. Of course this brought us back to China (like we ever left) and we let our agency know and they are sending our homestudy back to us so we can have it re-vamped for China !!! We are elated !!! I turn 30 in July so we are hoping our file will be sent to China in/around that date and 6 months from there we should have referral and then travel ! yay ! so this time next year we expect unless things change again
Her name will be Ava...partially after my Gram who just passed away on Monday her name was Avalean but she always hated it becuz noone could spell it so we are going with Ava...maybe Ava-leigh...I am Amy Leigh !
Anyways this is my sunshine in the clouds of my Gram passing I am just sorry Gram will not get to meet her, well at least in the flesh

Amy--so sorry to hear of your Gram's passing. I know that's a difficult thing to deal with.
But...on the bright side...I am SOOO happy for you having made your decision to adopt from China! You have made my night!

Good luck with China. No news with us yet. I am still waiting on Jay to finish his essay so we can get the homestudy started. He keeps insisting he is almost done.

Hey Lea ! I know...my Gram ... we put her ashes in with Grampa yesterday...it was super super sad for everyone I still am not sleeping (its 4:13am here) but I will work through it, we all will eventually.

Hey Amy ... long time no talk! I am sorry to hear about your Gram ... ((((hugs)))) I am sure she will be watching you closely as you bring her namesake home from China.
I am soooo excited that you are going with China! DH and I are considering it as well... just can't quite figure out when. Also, dh is still leaning towards going back to Russia (but I am not sure I can handle Russia again).
I am making a pledge to check in over here a little more often... I hope to see a lot more updates as you bring your daughter home.
