Method: 1.Pre-heat the oven to 180degrees/350fahrenheit/Gas mark 4.Grease a 12 cup cake tin or set out cake cases(baking cups) or greaseproof paper. 2.Mix the flour,cocoa and sugar together in a bowl. 3.In a separate small bowl,mix in the milk,melted margarine and vanilla extract together. 4.Make a well in the dry mixture and pour in the milk mixture.Mix well. 5.Add chocolate chips and hazelnuts and fill each muffin tin or cake case three-quarters full. 6.Cook for 20mins in the oven. 7.Eat straight from the tin while warm(allow to cool a little first!),or remove from tin and allow to cool completely.You can also freeze the muffins and heat up in the microwave for about 20seconds on high when you're ready to eat them.
You can vary the mixture by adding chopped cherries or sultanas instead of the hazelnuts.
