chocolate pudding - 50 calories a serving! I made this chocolate tofu pudding following a mix of recipes I found online.
You can not taste the tofu!! serious!!
Ingredients:
1)1 box of Mori-Nu Silken Lite Firm Tofu
2)1.5 tbsp of cocoa powder
3)2 – 3 tbsp of z-sweet natural sweetener (zero calories but tastes like sugar and natural)
a.Alternatively, you can use agave nectar but that adds calories (like 60 a tbsp) AND sugar. I actually used half agave and half z-sweet.
4)1 tsp vanilla essence
5)4 tbsp water
Blend everything together until really smooth in a food processor or blender.
Add a bit more water if it looks too thick. Add more cocoa powder or z-sweet if you think it needs some more too.
Transfer into containers. Makes around 3 servings. Chill and serve!
Total calories: roughly 50 cal per serving, or 150 for the whole thing!
You should be able to buy z-sweet and the tofu at whole foods. Z-sweet is kinda expensive but worth the savings in calories and also the cut in sugar, I think. |
