Hi my Endo suspected that I have pcos and sent me for all the bloodwork but my cholesterol is normal actually good. I thought those who have pcos usually have high lipids and bad lipid profiles. Anyone with pcos that has good cholesterol? Thanks for any help. My follow up appointment is Thurs and I'm going nuts!
I have PCOS with insulin resistance, weight problem, and wacky menstrual cycles when I'm not on Metformin, but my lipid profile has always been great. Good cholesterol and triglycerides.
My levels have always been in the healthy range as well. The Dr.'s are always surprised. Guess they think you can't be overweight and not eat junk food 24/7, LOL. Welcome To SC!

my cholestrol is good too, along with my blood pressure. I just got diagnosed a couple of days ago and will be doing more blood work tomorrow. I don't really know what or how to go about things but I guess that is what we will figure out one day.
Is cholesterol always high w/pcos
