Hi all .... I am gonna start this thread for those of us who really just need some uplifting prayer and help us find POWER from God's Word! I have run into a few of you who, like me, for whatever reason are not dealing with PCOS to get pregnant or don't really think God has created the desire in them to actually HAVE children. I want this place to be where we can encourage each other through this "illness" and do that through prayer and uplifting messages and thoughts directly from the Word of God! There is power in prayer and power in the Word. I personally know those of us who deal with ANY illness some days don't really "feel" like they can find that power to go on just one more day! I don't know how God will use this thread or if He will but I just hope you each find something out of it that will help you or encourage you or just "empty" you when it all just boils up inside you and there is just no thread where you can let loose!
The only guideline I ask is that we don't talk about TTC. If you are but want to share some encouragement for those struggling in other aspects, PLEASE feel free to do so!!! This is no click, no division, no one better or worse than another....just Christian Cysters in need of a place to discuss "stuff" and not have to stare into the numerous post of woman trying so DESPERATELY to concieve!!!
If this in any way offends anyone I deeply apologize and hope you understand that is not the purpose. Nor do I want to take away from the other wonderful posts on this incredible board.

What a great idea! My husband and I decided not to TTC, and after lots of prayer, I'm finally seeing that we don't need to be parents to be a family. Not that it was easy, but it's what we want.
Anything good on TV tonight? LOL I'm at work, working in a puzzle book.

You ROCK my friend! Acutally quite a few good shows tonight! Right now the always bizzare "TommyLee goes to college" followed by "Queer eye for the straight guy" !!! Ook,....call me crazy but I just like that kind of stuff!!! LOL OH...and Gilmore Girls was too cool!! SOOO excited for the season!!!

I need to subscribe to it too...seems to get lost in all those other millions of threads!! I wish we had a not TTC forum all to ourselves. But oh well....the threads are what keeps us all going! Glad tohave found you, I hope more ladies come. But if they don't we have our own secret special thread!!
Please pray for my work, I talked about it on the other thread, but I just need God's will to be made apparent. I don't know what I want to do when I graduate, where I want to live. I don't want to cut ties with a job that may end up being my future. Thanks! Kristi

Ok..one more thing....posted this on the other thread but just in case...I need prayer for my poppa! Today was a bit nerve wracking. My dad went to the doc and they are now "tag teamin" if you will and they are not going to put a shunt in his heart cuz he is too weak to withstand the surgery! < sigh >AND...his legs are like jello (i did tell you all about his fall down our stairs right?) so the docs are gonna do a CT of his brain to see if its something there. MY opinion...he is just slowly shutting down and the docs know this and really see it pointless to do much more. Its more like a "lets just make him comfortable" aproach. UGH I really do wish God would take him home so this can be over!!! My poor mom! AND to top things off for her...her sister is dying from breast cancer and is having the mastectomy and because of Dad she can't go up to be with her!!!! WHY??? WHY??? WHY??? why does this all have to happen to good people!!! Its so not fair!
I really pray that just one thing we can be happy about! Lately...its all so sad!

It's so hard to watch our loved ones suffer. A few years ago, I pretty much turned my back on God when my mom went through emergency surgery. She's doing fine now, but I think up til that point, I thought I was too holy for anything bad to happen. Does that make sense? I was a pretty bad hypocrite. After mom's surgery, I lived life like there was no God. This past May, right before my 30th birthday, I almost lost my husband because of the way I was living. It took a night of crying on my best friend's shoulder for me to realize how far I had gone. I went back to God and to my dh and I have been living a much humbler life. lol
Don't know why I went there. Just had the urge.
I love you girls and I'm praying for you.

First of all Julie...thanks for the complement! I really was having an "ugly" day! But the photos were important and I am so glad we did them!! We almost cancled cuz the beach had been overcast the whole day! But, by the incredible grace of God...the 2 hours we were there...the sun broke through!!! I love when God does things like that. Makes you believe in the verse where it says He can move mountians!
I am so sorry you went through all that! Trust me...I understand the turning your back thing! But I can confidently say I never lost "grip"! What I learned from that was priceless and its now something I hold on to whole heartedly! While Jesus was in the Garden of Gethsemane He BEGGED and PLEADED with His Heavenly Father because He didn't want to die!!! He was so distraught that he sweat blood! I take comfort in that knowing that the things that are too tough are nothing in comparison but also...God understands our anger!!! AND our agony for that matter. No emotion I have will ever shock him! If Jesus didn't want to die to save the world, I think my petty anger and the shambles my life is in is completely understanded by Him and it breaks His heart just the same. Ya know I have turned my back quite a few times but always held on deep inside knowing He understood. Trust me...lately I have had my moments of flat out anger at Him and Satan! (verbally I might add) BUT...I can stand in confidence that even though that happens, I am still His child and that connection will not and can not be broken! God knows my life sucks and wants more for me but the lessons I am learning are far more important than having a "perfect" life! LOL...I have to laugh cuz just the other day I asked for just ONE thing to go right in the day!!! ONE...wasn't being pushy...jusy one...and wouldn't ya know....it happened! He never ceases to amaze me!!!
Ok...comin down from the pulpit! LOL Guess I too needed to get that out! I am so sick of fighting for every little thing in my life!!! I don't get it! Its worn me to the point where I am now where I don't understand why I exsist! WHEW...guess I just found the reason for this thread! LOL
Thanks for that Julie...its always comfort to know others do the same thing in their journey's through life!!!

Hi ladies! Just wanted to say "hi" I have a break right now from my boys they are taking there afternoon naps. I hope everyone is having a great day and May God Bless you all! I wanted to say I will be praying for your dad and family and keeping them in my thoughts and prayers! I understand how it feels my Dad just passed on Sept 2nd and I am dealing with that and I ask WHY also I got angry I have mixed emotions but he was soo at peace with it, so I hold on to that, and he told us that this was God's Plan for him and he was ok with it. He struggled for a few years with Liver problems and was hoping he was going to get a transplant after years of going to a hospital that was 2 hours away from where we live to take all the test and try to get on the list he passed, at the end his kidneys shut down completely and he was on dialysis for 3 to 4 times a week for 3 1/2 to 4 hours a day he was fluid overload and everything was just shutting down, I ask WHY all the time, it doesn't seem fair because he was such a good man and human being. But I know that he is in heaven now and he is not in pain anymore. My mom got the Urn's in today and she got hers which was the big one it is really nice marble with praying hands on it, and I got a small one that is blue with gold seagulls on it that is called "Seagulls going home" so I have to go get that tonight from her house. He is with us still. Just not in the pyhiscal. I will pray for your family and I know how you feel it doesn't seem fair, if you want to talk you can always PM me.
Wendy...welcome and thank you for sharing your story! I live day to day wondering if God is going to take him home anytime soon! Its sooo hard!!
