Lite & Tresa - Thank you so much for the words of encouragement. I really needed it. I know that once we are in our place this weekend, things between me and DH will get right back to normal. We are both just so stressed out by the back and forth drama between my mom and stepdad. He's an alcoholic and has let his drinking spiral out of control, yet again! Last night, they talked about divorce and my mom came to me this morning (8 am) with the news but by noon, things were a-ok again. This is the second time in a week that there has been talk of ending their marriage. And my mom feels she needs to spill all of it on me and I just don't know how to listen and not let it affect me. But it does. So then I "vent" to Mike and then we are both on edge because we don't know how their marriage ending will affect us and our living situation. It's just a very stressful environment right now and it seems to be getting worse. They own their own business as well and are having to borrow money from my grandmother to make ends meet because he has let his drinking control his life and is not "pounding the pavement" like he should be and they have no money coming in. So that's another source of stress because my mom has come to me and I feel bad so we've helped.
Sorry to babble again. I just need to get this off my chest to someone who is "neutral" and can read this and not have it affect them like if I were to talk to family or my hubby.
I love this thread and feel so at peace when I come here...like my own little safe place. Thanks for all your advice and words of encouragement. It means so much to me.
God Bless You all.
~Amber

Hey Teresa. Don't worry about it, I new who you were talking too. Just take care of yourself and your boys. We go to LA friday so everyone please really keep him in your prayers. Its a really serious opperation they are doing.
Hey Tina. Hope everything is going good for you and your family. Thanks for your prayers too. You guys are such a blessing.
Hey Amber. Don't even stress about it. Just try to focus your energy on being at peace. We are all here to encourage each other. I know when my husbands mother lived with us for a while she was an alcoholic as well, as well as a chain smoker. She was inpossible to live with. I felt like moving out of my own home, but I just kept praying that God would speak to my husband. The storm will pass, trust me. Stay strong.
Hey Tera. Glad to have you to the team. I am new to. So sorry to hear about your horrible accident. I will be praying for healing for you and your husband. My husband is a correction officer for 11 yrs. in CA. I will believe with you for your mirical baby as well.
Have a blessed day ladies.
Lite - It's sooooo hard not to stress about it, especially when DH jumps down my throat for some ofthe silliest things. Like this morning, he said he'd be glad when the weekend is here so he can sleep in. I said to him well Saturday you can go back to sleep on our way to Waco and he said I'm not going. I said well you said you were and he said No YOU said I was I never said I was going to....so this went on for a while and long story short, I "pressured" him into going to Waco with me to pick up our puppy and he ended up leaving without saying ILY or giving me a kiss. I ended up crying myself back to sleep. So, you see, its hard not to stress when things like this morning happen.

Hey Amber. I am sooo sorry to hear that. And I am not saying that its not easy because I know that your walking on egg shells every day. Your probaelly not getting a lot of sleep, especially if your fighting with your husband. So I know that it anything but easy. I just want you to know that I am really praying for you and I am here for you if you need anyone to talk to. I sorry if I came off insensitive. I want you to know that what your going through is hard but your not alone.
Lite,
I didn't think you were being insensitive at all. I was having a real bad morning yesterday and might have come across rude or snippey. If I did I'm so sorry. That was not my intention at all.
My horrible morning only got a little more worse....mom and I went to lay flooring in our place and I was walking down the stairs to get something and landed on my foot wrong and now have a Grade 3 sprain on my right ankle. I'm in a walking boot. Doc said next level on trauma on an ankle is fracture but I'm convinced this hurts worse especially in the position they have my foot.
On a positive note, when Mike got home from work yesterday, he apologized for the incident. Him and my mom laid the floor in the kitchen and he says now that he's worked with my mom he feels a little better about the whole situation. So maybe things are going to turn around with him sooner than I expected.
Love you guys.

I've looked at the site a few times over the years but have never joined to post anything on the forums. I'm 25 and I haven't been diagnosed with PCOS yet due to finances and not having insurance. I am pretty sure that I have PCOS. I haven't told anyone about this and i'm frustrated with it. I am a Christian. I would like to talk to someone that's my age or around my age. I think it would help me to talk to someone about what i'm going through who already knows what it's like.
Tresa-Sorry to hear about DS#1. It is so sad when children are ill and uncomfotable. I will keep him in my prayers for a speedy recovery and for you in taking care of him.
I would love to join this thread again if that is alright with everyone. I will try to go back and read the last few pages of posts to catch up.

Hi All- I am also new to the cysters group. I am so glad to find a Christian group where I can vent and also know that I will have others help carry my burdens to the Foot of the Cross. I am married 20 years- to Tim. I have 4 boys here with me- Graham 18yrs, Hayden 15yrs, Taylor 13yrs and Carter 6 1/2yrs. I also have my 4 angel boys-- Matthew Parker '01 (18 wks), Daniel Hunter '04 (14 wks), Joseph Cameron '04 (18 wks) and Zachary Aaron '06 (17 wks). The doctors (many many doctors) do not know what caused my m/c. With my last one- Baby Aaron was beautiful-- fine sonogram on Thurs-@ specialist office, 5days later, Tues. at my OB there wasn't a heartbeat... They had thought it was a Factor V defect and I was injecting Heparin 2X daily. Now being dx with PCOS makes me wonder if this could have been the issue...but it sounds like PCOS causes problems with getting preg not sustaining the baby. I am so sad and confused... Could you just pray that I can find some answers. I have an appt. on 8/20 with a reproductive endocrinologist that specializes in PCOS-- I just don't understand with ALL the blood they drew, why didn't they notice this years ago. My babies were perfect by all reports-- It was just me that couldn't do my job and there was nothing I knew to do differently. I am just broken and can't get past this pain and everyone around me (including DH) doesn't seem to remember that we lost our boys. I was able to hold 2 of the 4 and spend time with them- It was hard to let them go but I know it was just their shell-- They were already playing at Jesus' feet. Thank God that He is Good and I will see them again someday... Thanks for listening and Thanks for this thread...
Lollylee-Welcome! so sorry for you loses. I hope the RE will be able to help you.
How is everyone today? I am hoping for a nice relaxing weekend.

Lolly - I know how you are feeling. I suffered a m/c but it seems that the only one who remembers anymore is me. I think about our little one all the time. I really hope and pray that the RE will give you some answers and you will finally have some peace about things. Regardless though, it is not your fault that you have 4 little angels. There is a reason for everything. We may not understand or like it but God's got a plan for everything He does. Hang in there. If you ever need to talk, email me ( aivy@cowgirlcustombling.com ).
Welcome to all our newbies.
Tresa - yeah this really hurts. And it won't stop swelling. I mean, it swelled friday night while elevated sooooo much that i lost ALL feeling in my foot. and I kept loosening the brace but it didn't help. I really hope I don't have some sort of nerve damage. Grr!
Hope you all are having a great weekend.
