Default hey everyone

Hey there everyone.
I'm michelle I'm 19 and was diagnosed wth pcos a few months ago. I've had cysts on my ovaries forever and the ultra sound tech said I was born with pcos.
For me, for about a few months I was in pain everyday, like some one was grabbing my ovaries and squeezing them
Since I first got my period when I was 10, it was ALWAYS irregular. For the past year or so when I'd get my period, it would stay longer then normal ( I would bleed 10 + days )
Then, I started getting spotting between my period. About 5 months ago I got my period and it just seemed to not stop
Then the next month came, and the next month, and the next and it ended up lasting 4 months NON-STOP.
I went to the doctors and got birth controle (loestrin fe) and it still didnt help after taking a whole pack.
Doctor then game me generic provera. It was a 10 day dose. Two dats after taking it my period stopped!!! Then I just ended it friday or saturday. And it came back last night
I'm pretty much at my witts end! I'm a christian, and I've had doctors tell me I cant have kids and some say I can. But God knows the real deal. I'm getting married soon and my soon-to-be-husband is very supportive of me
And really wants to see me better. I dont know what else to tell my doctor or what else to do to just help me. I know I have to take the BC for the rest of my life, he told me that
It would b nice to have other woman to talk to and share things with!!

If you'd like to talk my email is - mbouch390@optonline.net
I'd love to talk to anyone

Hi Every1- How are you today? I upped my Metformin to 1500mg a couple of days ago and have been feeling better than I did at 1000mg. Don't know if it is in my head but whatever... I was having an awful time for the month before. I am also putting 3 of my ds in public school after home schooling for the past several years. I am kinda not sure about it but my DH thinks it is what we all need now... I am following his lead so I hope he's leading where God wants us to go because it is so hard to see through the fog right now. Of course, the reason I'm feeling better is because I am Yielding to God and Following my Hubby's Lead. I struggle very much with both of these things. It's more like me to fight for what I want and think is best...... Go figure!! lol

Anyway, Amber- How's your ankle? I had surgery on mine last mid-Oct. then my ds#4 broke his FEMUR-- SNAP right in half Nov4. He was in a Spica-cast and then a full leg cast until March. It was awful- Thank you for your kind words. ( BTW- I'm a TXGirl too! Go Texas!! lol) How are things with your hubby and also your parents? I can't imagine the stress you are under right now. Just hold on and Know that "This too shall pass!" I hope things are on the right track. I want you to know that I am praying for you and your family.

Tresa- How is your ds#1? It sounded like he was awfully sick... What did the ped. say? Hope he is better and you are getting rested...

Welcome, to Travelingartist, Litena79 and HomeinAK.... Hi to Tinah1 and Tera. I am so glad that everyone is here. Hope your week is going well....

Hello everyone,

This is my first time to post in here. And it is so nice to find a forum with nothing but Christian women in in who understand what i am going through. I am very excited to make new friends. Well my Dh and I will be married a year in September. I was just diagnosed with PCOS in June so i am a newbie. I started on my first round of Femara Last friday. We go back to the doctor on Monday to find out if i O'ed or not. So please be praying that I did so we can go home and do the bd. I also am a Texas Girl. Born and Raised. I have been attending church off and on since i was 15. But have been going for the last 5 years faithfully. I believe that we will be given the desires of our hearts it just wont be in our timing. I know that God will give us a baby at some point its just a matter of time. I look forward to hearing from you all. I will be praying for everyone.

Hi everyone. I hada huge post written out and it got ate up! ARG!!

So, I will just have to tell all the new girls - HI!

So glad you drop by, I hope you can find wonderful friendships here, prayer and support for whatever you're going through!! I would love to get to know ya!!

Sorry about being MIA

DS#1 - That would be Josh, is doing better - thank you for asking!!

About the MIA - I have had a family situaion arise w/ my oldest brother. His ex, whose has not seen her boys in 9 yrs and lost rights to them 9 yrs ago, showed up this year, she lives out of state. anyway, long story short. I told my brother not to let them go and he did being nice and well they were to be back last Sat and she called saying she wouldnt return them, we caled the sherrif adn there adn they told them to end the boys back monday, well they didnt and said they would leave tues, yesterday said they were about to leave didnt hear from them then last night got a hold of a family member and they said they cahnged their mind were eaving today. SOmething smells wrong here. I dont think they have any intensions on bringing the boysback. SHe lost her rights for physical and verbal abuse, prostituion and drugs and living with a convicted felon. My brother thought to give her a chance thinking she may have changed. ANyway, I have to call him and see what's going on.
Could you all please pray for this situation and that the boys come home soon adn safe! Last we heard they are scared and want to come home.

ANd my 2 yo is doing dangerous things. That boys is going to give me a heart attack - he scares me! He's all over everything!

I'll get back on here tonight to post!

Again welcome tp the newcomers!!

hello everyone.

Michelle-Welcome! Alot of women with PCOS are able to get pregnant. Some with no medical help, but there are some of us that do need treatments.

Lolly-I am considering home schooling my dh next year. Is any particular reason that your dh felt you kids need to go to public schools?

Dgraham-welcome! I hope you ovulated. KUP!

Tresa-that is terrible about your brother's ex taking the kids. Praying for a quick and safe return.

AFM-DH still hasn't found a job. Prayers would be appreciated.

Hey Teresa. He gets to stay home the remainder of his care. We go back to L.A. this Tuesday to remove his drains from his chest. He just has to take it easy for three months. Thanks for your continual prayers.
Have a blessed day ladies and hope all is well. This is the day that the Lord has made and I will rejoice and be glad in it.

I think I joined this group a while ago, but haven't been on for a while. Today I'm searching for answers as my gyno is strongly referring us to a fertility clinic in Vancouver. She had previously thought that we were good candidates for IUI but today called me after getting my dh's morphology results and now thinks that we should look at ICSI. As I'm sure most of you know ISCI is a HUGE price jump from IUI and much more involved. This last year has been such a roller coaster ride and I'm also worried of what my dh will think. He is a very private person, so I think it could be very difficult for him to give in to this kind of extreme treatment for both of our infertility.

Hi ladies.

Sorry I've been MIA for a while (again). Was still trying to get settled in and had no internet for a while.

Update on me:
Now have a hard cast on my foot. Doc said I tore my ligaments.
OB is excited that I had AF on my own and wants to put medicines on hold and see what my "uterus decides to do." We also discussed the possibility of bariatric surgery.
Am going to a B.S. seminar saturday and have already started getting all my ducks in a row to get the surgery.
So ttc is on hold and honestly I am ok with that. Just please pray that DH's HR department and his insurance make this a smooth process. This is something I need badly.

Now that I have 'net at my house I plan on being on more. Seems like everytime I say that, something comes up and I disappear for a while.

Hope all of you are doing well.

Hello ladies. How is everything going for everyone? I hope well. Its been a little tough lately dealing with a raging teenager. For one I am the step parent so everything is always my fault and scond he thinks he knows it all; so nothing that I say is ever right. He thinks I'm stupid. I sorry, I am just so fustrated and do not handle stress well. I just wish my step son would appriciate me more and not fight about everything. Its hard being a step mother. Sorry everyone, I just needed to vent. Thank you for listening. May God bless everyone of you in all that you are going through.

Hey Amber. Thanks for the prayers. Sometimes I just feel like I'm about to loose my mind. I know that my problems are not as big as they seem, but when your right there in that moment, its huge. I will be praying for you too that your surgery goes well. Thanks again for your support and listening. Take care and God bless you as well.
