Christian Cysters: My Prayer for Good Health

Christian Cysters/Sisters,
I called a friend tonight and asked for prayer for resumption of my normal menstrual cycle, absence of polycstic ovaries, weight loss, stable normal weight, free of pcos. She prayed for me [b]and as she prayed , I was reminded that prayer is spoken communication with God and Jesus Christ, not constant thinking about what I wanted to pray about. Lately, I've prayed for others, but am guilty of only meditating (positive thoughts) and yes, shamefully, worrying (negative, spirit crushing thoughts) about/for myself. I needed to pray the spoken word and written word for myself. How remiss of me!
According to Romans 4:17 NIV, "...- the God who gives life to the dead and calls things that are not as though they were."
Psalm 103:1-5 NIV, "Praise the Lord, O my soul; all my inner being, praise his holy name. Praise the Lord, O my soul, and forget not all his benefits- who forgives all your sins and heals all your diseases, who redeems your life from the pit and crowns you with love and compassion, who satisfies your desires with good things so that your youth is renewed like the eagle's."
