I'll say yes to either date. Hopefully we can catch up then as I missed the last one. Shame Deb can't make it though. Hey Deb, Mackenzie's birthday is the 4th, our little fella's could share the same birth date!

Sorry i have been MIA - it is that time of the year at work!
I was going to say the 10th is my preferred date - i have finished work then! Yahoo!
As for a venue - i am really struggling. I dont want to go to somewhere we have already been before (like Sizzler or Toscanis) but i have drawn a blank. I will get to thinking - i had thought the bistro at the Manly Hotel is great (you dont have to go anywhere near the public bar) but i would presume that a few of you wouldnt want to go somewhere like this. I also thought of Fasta Pasta but i am not sure they do lunch. Then i thought of the coffee shops/restaurants at the Metropole at Carindale but i am not sure if they have finished their re-modelling of the centre. I will drive by there this week and see.
Anyone with any suggestions please let me know
Fee
PS: i will pick you up from the train Kath!

Can I say Fasta Pasta!! Fasta Pasta!!! I am the worlds biggest Fasta Pasta junkie. The one at Stones Corner definitely does lunch, I've been there many a time.
Hey really, I'll accept whatever the decision (especially if Fee will pick me up from the nearest train station!) but if I'm asked to choose, Fasta Pasta always wins hands down.
Oh - anyone want to PM me their mobile number so I've got a couple of contacts this time?
I think fasta pasta is a very good option for this one seeing as I can't make it (I'm a coeliac, so I don't think I could eat anything on their menu... unless they have gluten-free pasta or pizza's - check it out for me while you are there in case they do)!!!

Deb they do have non-pasta foods. My mate Jody always has a dirty great steak when we go there. But they also have chicken and veal and other stuff. Plus some vegetarian stuff - and potato gnocchi if you can eat that.
Kath
(Who knows the Fasta Pasta menu all too well!)
Could i safely say people are happy with Fasta Pasta???? Due to the fact that many of us are in the vicinity of the bayside would it work to go to Capalaba? Lets know what you think.
Kath - i have several of the bay railway stations near me so this will not be a problem!
