Christmas Puddings etc while Pregnant This may soud silly but its hard to find info on the safety of Xmas pudds while pregnant. Does anyone have an oppinion? Did you eat them or should I skip and have somat else? The booze should cook out right? and if u dont add more to set it alight will it be ok then?
I did eat a good for you one from sainsbury w/o booz but it had no nuts and tasted crap as they have clearly left out sugar as well.
Thanks!

Any alcohol that is added to the xmas pud before it is cooked will not be there after it is cooked.
However, some puddings might have alcohol added after the cooking process.
I would think the actual amount of alcohol you would consume would be very low so personally I wouldnt worry about it, but you could always make your own so that you know exactly what is going into it.
I am pregnant too and will be happily tucking into Christmas pudding and Christmas cake and everything else Christmassy, cant wait, yum yum!
