Happy Holidays, ladies!

I just wanted to pop in and share a special song with you. I first heard it last year, and it just warmed my heart as I thought about my beautiful little adopted cousins and godchildren.

It's a Christmas song about a child who is going to be (and then is) adopted. I just thought some of you would enjoy it.

This song came out last Christmas (at least I think it was last Christmas...possibly the Christmas before). It got me through last Christmas when we were waiting for our daughter.

The song is about a couple that's waiting to adopt from China. As far as I know, the husband is in the band. I wonder if they've gone to China yet!?!?! They must have since the song was made while we were still waiting & we've been home for 3 months now!

Thanks for posting this, I forgot about this song! I'm going to ask DH for this CD for Christmas

When I first read your post I thought it was about the Christmas song (oh goodness forgot the name) about the little girl and she meets "Santa" and ask for a family of her own. "Santa" then ends up adopting her at the end of the song vrey touching.

Ok amd OMG what about the little boy that wants to buy shoes for his mom because when she meets "God" (she has cancer) he wants her to look pretty (tear jerker everytime).

Sorry I know I kinda got o/t but it made me remeber all of these great Christmas songs.

omg im bawling..im in the middle of writting a letter from santa to leah and mentioning last christmas ...with santa visiting her in the orphanage...this is helping me out
