Wasn't there a thread by that name? I was trying ten different kind of searches and the new search engine could not come up with it anymore. I was looking for some info I read in there just last week (when the old search engine brought it up w/o a problem), but it seems to be lost. It couldn't have been deleted, could it???
As far as I can tell, this board only goes back to Feb. I'm really bummed about all the archived posts lost, too. That tends to happen whenever there's a server switch. Maybe the old board is still in cyberspace somewhere?

I did find your post on laser from July 2003 - before you went to your first treatment, so that one was still there. Just Juliekaboolie's thread is nowhere to be found. And I was looking for a couple of links to a different board that you had posted for Christy to look at (it was 'consumer-something-or-other') about how often to go to treatments so they'd be most effective b/c they can only really destroy the hair while it's in a certain phase of growth.
All of the posts going back to 2002 are here. The problem is the search engine can't 'process' a large batch from late 2003-2005. The only 2005 posts that are being picked up are those that have been posted or replied to since the switch.
We're still trying to come up with a solution...but the posts ARE here.

Well, it's good to know the thread is still there, it's just odd I wasn't able to get to it even though I knew the exact title and author as well as the forum it had been posted in (Metformin). And why would it come up with another 2003 post but not this one? The other old post hadn't been replied to recently either...
I hope that eventually we'll be able to dig the other posts out again too.

We have attempted to rebuild the search index, and the process started from the oldest threads to the most recent. For some reason, the system got 'hung up' during the threads from 2004-ish. (that's the simple explanation.)

Thanks. Know what I just noticed? At the top of the screen where it has the ads, one of them is in German. How odd is that? Does the system recognize that's where I am???

You have "Germany" listed as your location. That's probably where the system is picking it up...
