Question Chromium Picolinate

So I cant find a recent thread on this, so i thought i would throw it back out there and see what everyone has to say. I read at other sites that CP can boost your energy and follows up with the IR issues we have with PCOS. Can everyone share their likes and dislikes. What you took with it or if you took it alone. When you took it.
I take 2000mg of Met a day for about one year with little to no side effects anymore and thats about it.

Thx ya'all,
DMM

I've tried it a couple of times but everytime I take it I my blood sugar gets too low and hypoglycemia kicks in. But when I just take Met - no issues. Not sure about this one.

I'm not having any problems with it My list is below of everything I take spread throughout the day. I added all the supplements at once, so I can say which is doing what, but I'm starting to feel better... I was in a really bad slump!

GigglingFrog how much do you take and when do you take it? Do you happen to notice any GI issues?

Thx,
DMM

I take 200 mcg at breakfast and at lunch. I take my 500mg Met in the evening and just added 500mg Met at lunch. I haven't had any issues I just ordered more from Puritan's Pride (they have a sale, buy one get two free) and it is 500mg. I'll probably only take that in the morning, but DH is going to start supplements and we are going on Atkins, so it will be interesting to see how it effects him since he isn't taking any prescriptions.

I'm thinking about going on the chromium also. Any other good or bad testimonials? What's the theory behind it? What's it supposed to help with, IR? (I'm loving the supplements I've added so far.)

I actually started taking this 2 weeks ago because I'm doing a South Beach "type" diet, and that is one of the supplements they suggest. No complaints, they said it was for energy etc.
