I just bought Chromium today and I noticed on the bottle that it should be taken once a day but I also noticed that some ladies on the board upped there doses to 2 or 3 tablets a day. Is it ok to do that? What is your experience with taking chromium? Please let me know? Thanks ladies.

What dosage does it come in? I've seen it in 200mcg and 500mcg.
When I started taking Chromium GTF I started with 1 tablet (200mcg) a day for a week. I re-evaluated and added a tablet at lunch. After a week I re-evaluated ... That way I could see what dosage worked for me.
I noticed that your siggy says you are on met. Be careful when taking Met & Chromium together as your blood sugar may get too low. Watch for the signs of low blood sugar.

Thank you Bethers for the info. The bottle says 200mg each tablet. So when taking met with Chromium it can cause your sugars to go way low? I didn't know that. Thanks for letting me know, but do you think it's still ok to take the Chromium? I am new to all this.

I think you can take it just as bethers said watch for signs of low blood sugar. I have heard it called a natural remedy opposed to met so you wouldnt want to go as high as some gals go who dont use met
