Zhay's mom

Does anyone else have chronic headaches and if so do you believe it is related to your PCOS at all? After I had my son (he's almost 2 now) most of my PCOS symptoms were virtually non-existing, lately since I came off BC my symptoms have come back full force and I am getting headaches almost daily anymore. I want to go back to my OB and get back on Metformin but I don't have insurance anymore so I'm hesitant. Any info would be helpful, thanks

I've had chronic migraines since I was about 13. It wasn't until after I got on metformin that they went away. I've only had a few now since being on met. Turns out they were caused by my IR and having hypoglycemic bouts.

Yeah I would get a horrible mirgaine like once a month until the dr. started me on the met when then went away

I take zomig and maxalt for migraines, I cannot take certain bcp's b/c they make me have migraines I had to use bcp's for my first ivf and I had horrible migraines.

I get headaches fairly often, but I think they are due to my allergies. I just started met. BTW, at Wal-mart and Target, they have metfromin for around $4 a month.
