Default Chronic vaginal dryness

since about august I have been having vaginal dryness, toilet paper sticking to me, no lubrucation, I am often sore and sometimes raw that I am bleeding. I do notice some cm in my vagina, but outside it is so dry, other than applying lub what I can I do.

I just called the gyn, but now I can't even speak to someone to make an appointment, I have to leave a message and hope they call back.

please help

I don't know if this will help, but I noticed you were on Mucinex. If I am correct that is a exportant for the lungs? Being a mucus membrane, the vaginia is sensitive to such things and perhaps you are drying it out because of the Mucinex or any other decongestant you are taking. HTH. I hope the doctor is able to help you!

ETA - I also have heard that Zoloft can cause vaginal dryness....Speak to the doctor...he/she can give you more sound advice...

mucinex is guafensin(not a decongestant) same thing as robitussin, I was taking that for more mucus, but I haven't actually taken any in a long time.

I have been on the Zoloft for years, so I don't think that is the problem ad this dryness has only been happening since Mid August, I remember the exact date I noticed a problem, we were away for a friends wedding.

So I am haoping to hear back from the doc, but we will see, I am the type of person that doens't get called back, I wish I knew why... lol
