All is going well in Kansas. We are enjoying finally having "Spring" weather and spend as much time as possible outside.
Tiana is in speech therapy and is doing well. She said such few words that we sought out help. Also, Tiana is in 2 playgroups through our local school district (Parents As Teachers.)
As far as church I actually did not attend for about 4 months. I recently returned. I also recently learned to forgive. (a huge deal for me.) Since I did not become COC until age 20 I am sort of at a "young point" in my learning.
Hope everyone is doing well.
Oh and you see from my signature that we are TTC #2!

Karen-Thanks for starting a new thread. Sounds like Tiana is doing well. Babydust on TTC #2!
Jill-I imagine you are ready to meet your baby boy!
As for myself, I'm doing ok. I work, work, work. Otherwise, DH and I are still TTC #1. It looks like the next cycle I'll be trying clomid. I look forward to catching up with everybody!

Tigg-good luck with your clomid!
I'm almost half way through this pregnancy, and I'm very glad. For me, they seem to go by quite quickly. I'm starting to feel better, thankfully. We are supposed to be having a girl, but we aren't certain. Assuming it is a girl, her name is going to be Evangeline Mallisa, Evan is a family name and Mallisa is the middle name of my sister who is 13 months younger than me. She died of SIDS. We will call her Evie.
Lainey's doing well, growing in personality and cuteness everyday, and loving Bible Hour and Classes.
Our congregation just celebrated it's 50th Anniversary, and we had a huge (and stressful for DH and I) bash. I did the picture slide show for it, and I scanned in all but 20 of the 714 pictures, so I thought it would never end.

Aiden turned head down & the u/s says he weighs about 5lbs 13 oz... My Dr figures hell be about 7 lbs... All the stress & hard work over the GD was well worth it & we should have a healthy baby boy sometime soon!
Glad to hear everyone seems to be doing well this year... I know we sure have been blessed!

Hey Ladies - it has been a long while since I visited this thread.
Things are good for me. I have a wonderful job and a wonderful new man after the last one who was a real piece of work. God blesses me more and more each day.
My parents are struggling with their faith right now - please keep them in your prayers.
My best friends are struggling with their marriage right now-please keep them in your prayers.
I would also appreciate prayers for my boyfriend and I - sometimes it seems like for every step forward we go back three. I have talked to an elder at my coc church who wants to do couples counseling with us. I am a believer in counseling,but hesistant to bring it up...I don't want him to think there is some grand problem - because there is not...I just think that counseling could be a valuable asset to make our relationship even stronger than it already is and maybe even prepare us for marriage if that is a possibility for our future.
Also, my long lost brother that I never knew has recently found and contacted our family. I am happy and excited yet hesitant about it so please keep that situation in your prayers,also.

Hi girls! I was part of one of the old threads. I keep forgetting to log on to Soul Cysters!! I've been so busy this past year (or almost year). I wanted to request prayers. My husband and I have separated after 7 years of marriage. There is a slim chance we'll reconcile, but I'm praying constantly for that to be a reality. All my friends are constantly praying for me and my husband. I just want lots of people to keep us in their prayers. I want God to heal both our hurts and make us better adults during our separation. We agreed to stay separated during this last year of school for me (will graduate in May...YAY!)...more him than me. I just want this to be over and I want to be with him again. Please pray that God's will happens in this situation.

OMG! My 16 year old cousing began having seizures on Tuesday. She had several and was sent to ICU. They thought that she was getting better and released her, however on Monday, she blanked out and returned to the ICU were she remains tonight. She is a merit student at school, but at the present time she can't remember important things like her name or her closest relatives. She comes and goes from complete oblivian and she can't really talk. The Dr's have given her EEKG's, MRI, bloodwork and they still don't know what happed. She is a good girl -still a virgin and no drugs there is no explaination for this. They are still running test. Please pray for Jonay and family. | |
