Hello All,
Hope everyone is doing well. Dh, Tiana and I went to church today. It feels so much better to attend, than to chose not to attend. A deep sigh of relief.
We have not heard back yet if Dh got the promotion in Kansas City. We are pretty sure he did not get it. I am trying my very very best to learn patience.
How is everyone else doing?

I sure hope your Dh hears from the Kanasa place. I hate waiting. I still haven't found the right church for me down here. I need to stop trying to compare them to my one back home that I have gone to for 29 years and just go find me one I like instead of bouncing around. I just found out tonight that I am going to be an Aunt again Hopefully my doctor will tell me in Novemeber I can start ttc finally. I have been doing so good with the meds and af has reappeared every month since I started all of the meds. So I hope I will be able to start trying again. My sister is 2 ahead of me now Feeling a little down in the dumps the past few weeks. Had a kidney infection and it got me down and out with my depression for some reason. But this week I vowel to get up off my buns and work out again. I have been stuck at 40 pounds lost for 2 weeks now. Kinda on hold. No working out does that I assume. Hope everyone else is doing well!

Mindy- Hang in there with the ttc. It is a lot of work for us PCOS ladies. I heard yesterday at church that a friend of ours is pregnant. It must be nice for it to be so easy. They started ttc on their one year anniv, got pregnant and now are due in Feb!
We hope to hear something maybe today about the Kansas job... We are pretty sure that DH did not get it, but it would be nice to hear something one way or the other.
I too can not believe it is already October! Tiana will be 1 next month!!!!!!!!!!!!! Last year I was counting down the days...

Just checking in with my sister cysters! I'm doing ok here. I've had some difficult days at work but things are better now. DH (Tiggasguy) is doing well too. He has a birthday coming up. I'll try to post more later.

October is sort of a busy month for me and our congregation. We are having a Gospel Meeting starting Sunday. Then we are having a youth activity day next Saturday, then our fall picnic on the 29th. My dad is buying a house in ATL which is great..since he lives in NY. He wants to be closer to Payton and Cam. He will be coming down on the 18th and going back on the 24th.
Question:
Is your minister and his wife or family very hospitable or put forth a good example?
Our minister and his wife have people over for dinner like 2 times a week. They are very loving and giving and such great examples in that area. I am so glad that we moved here and meet them because I totally need that inspiration. Because I will have company over...but like 4 times a year I think. I know..pitiful!

I wonder if our minister and his wife do that? I would guess that they do but I have never heard that they do. DH was raised at this particular church. I will have to ask him. To me it feels like our minister is very shy. Not at all exciting. I LOVE when the ministers we had down south would get all into the message. It really tends to stick better that way. At least for me.

Yeah I understand what you mean. Mel is a Hoot and a 1/2. Great personality uses his humor a good bit too. I think he calls a Good sermon is when you have the paint peeling off the walls. I dont really like the hollering type...but the one that gets your attention and draws you in. Even the kids are paying attention. hehe

Church of Christ - It's October!!
