Default Cinnamon

Does anyone with diabetes take a cinnamon supplement? My MIL swears that it has helped my FIL keep his sugars down. Just wondering...

I don't take it but my mom does for her type 2 diabetes and it really helps, keep the sugars down.

I take it as well - and so does my husband.

It helps me control my spikes (as in I don't have any anymore).

I buy it in capsule form at Wal-Mart for pretty cheap. I also take FISH OIL capsules to help condition the cells to be more receptive to the insulin in my body.

I worked with a nutritionist who helped me figure all this stuff out.

I just started taking cinnamon. My mom and I are both trying it. I am diabetic and she is pre-diabetic. I hope it helps her not to get full blown.
