Default Cinnamon??

Has anyone ever tried taking cinnamon instead of metformin and had any success with it? I use to take metformin. After I had my baby the doctor didn't put me back on it. I read about cinnamon being a natural sugar metaboliser. Within a week or so it made my AF come for a visit...

Interesting, I've heard a bit as well. The Cinnamon smell is also a aphrodisiac ---which also helps to get pregnant *winks*

I was only taking 1g a day. It comes in capsules so it's much better than powdered cinnamon.

Can you take Cinnamon while on Met? Or on Clomid for that matter?

I've eaten about 1 tablespoon of ground cinnamon everyday since the beginning of January. I do not take any medications or supplements except for prenatals.

I did ovulate for the first time Saturday.

However, I can't attribute O to cinnamon alone. I also weigh less and am consuming far less sugar. It certainly doesn't hurt!
