My Mood: Points: 6,466.22 Bank: 0.00 Total Points: 6,466.22 | tiana - thanks so much again...I will try to find the tea over the next week. And you're so kind to offer to send out the cream At the moment I've been successful at finding it online in the UK so I'll let you now if I have any future problems with that. I'm originally from the UK and it's so easy to find things there, but France seems to be a bit behind the times with some things. My BF is from Ottawa so he should know about shipping, etc, to here if needs be.
Monique - thanks for you advice. I have found Provera to buy online, but it’s expensive so I’m trying to avoid that for the moment. The DR that DX me in the first place was in another European country who I actually wrote to about 5 years ago asking for my notes but unfortunately they don’t keep records after a certain amount of time and had no recollection of me. Since then I've either been on BCP and had no problems with PCOS or no doctor has taken me seriously enough to do any tests!

My Mood: Points: 6,466.22 Bank: 0.00 Total Points: 6,466.22 | Just thought I'd update to say that something I was taking worked. I'd just finished the NPC and although I'd reduced the Vitex to half the original amount I was using decided to stop completely. Well I didn't get AF but I did O 6 days after stopping NPC and 3 days after stopping Vitex, I also introduced 1tsp cinnamon on the first day after stopping NPC so this too could have helped. And as I O'd I have first AF at the moment since stopping nuvaring last november.
I do think that stopping the vitex might have helped things along as my skin has really cleared up since stopping and it doesn't feel aggravated anymore as if something was irritating it, so maybe the vitex did disagree with me after all.
Tiana - I haven't managed to find any yarrow tea yet, but I'm still looking, I'll probably have to get it either in a bigger French town (I live in a small village in the Alps) or get some sent out from the UK...I'm still looking forward to give it a try though

My Mood: Points: 1,035.64 Bank: 0.00 Total Points: 1,035.64 | For about a week now I've been taking about 1tsp of cinnamon daily - I usually mix it in a little milk and just take it that way - usually 1/2 tsp in the morning and 1/4 tsp at night. Does anyone know about how long it takes to start seeing an effect - and what that initial effect may look like? I'm not really sure if I'm IR or not - I just see an Ob/gyn, he did bloodwork and said my sugar levels seemed alright based on that. I do have increased testosterone though. Does anyone know if it would be better to take the cinnamon capsules instead of just the cinnamon? Thanks! |
