Default Cinnamon and breastfeeding?

Ajani (I think) posted a list of things cinnamon can help with and one of them was "drying up milk supply." I am thinking ahead to how I am going to battle the PCOS once these babies get here and giving cinnamon a serious go seems like as good a place as any to start. Five bucks a pound and all. I don't think met has helped me with the PCOS since the first year I was on it. Anyway I am planning to nurse for at LEAST a year, hopefully 2 this time, so obviously something that will dry up milk is not a good idea. Is anyone breastfeeding and using cinnamon and have you noticed a problem?

I personally didn't use cinnamon while BF, but another cyster I know did, and she started having supply issues.

Cinnamon that is ingested while BF may also cause tummy problems for the babies. If I ate it, my DD would have all sorts of tummy issues. It's on a case by case basis, and depends on how sensitive the baby is, but it is often listed as one of the spices to avoid during BF, due to the GI issues it can cause for the baby.
