Doing okay here, I just don't know if the Cinnamon is working much for me anymore. I'm on 2000 mg and I don't want to up it anymore than that to tell the truth. I've got some other health issues going on too so maybe it's just that? At least I hope so. Thanks for asking!

Hi ladies! I am new here, and I was reading about cinnamon, so I went ahead and bought the capsules, and took one tonight! I plan to do two a day -- they are 1,000 mg each. Do you think you can notice a difference?

Trying an alternative approach:
Omega 3 Fish Oil
Cinnamon
Apple Cider Vingar
It can take a while for it to integrate into your system from what I read, but for me it was pretty much quick, like within the first week or so I felt the loss of a desire for sugary/carby foods. I also had a decreased appetite and had an increase in craving for protein.
Good luck to you both and keep us posted! Hopefully someone else will chime in too!

in response to zoanne, i take 2000 mg of the cinnamon. i believe that it helped to get my bs down to where it is now also i think it helped me and getting my af after stopping bcp a a couple of months ago. im a diabetic and my a1c right now is 7.2 i still have a while to go but its better. i havent been checking my bs with a glucose meter lately so i dont know if the effects of lowering my bs with cinnamon have stopped. i just continue to take it.i will have to let you know about if it has stopped working when i get some test strips. also i see you are taking apple cider vinegar. i used to take that also and it helped in lowering my bs before meals. i took 2 tbls before each meal. but if your are not a diabetic i dont know if that would help you in any way. but i had to stop taking it because it was causing me gastro upset.good luck and hth

I just recently found out about Cinnamon and my dietician recommends 1/2 tsp of it per day. Per her recommendation, I mix 1/4 tsp with 1 cup of boiling water to make a tea. I add a packet of Equal for a little more sweetness. I just started drinking 2 cups of this a day and it's pretty good!

I've been taking 2000 mg a day for a while now and in March and February I had AF for the first time on my own since December 2005. I am getting AF off and on (spotting mainly) now but I also haven't been diligent with taking my pills, so that's part of it. It can take a while (mind you I started my pill regimen in late October!), but you should see some results!
Good luck!

still tasking it . but still no AF ... but i am going to finish a full bottle before i decide if i will continue ...
1/2tsp doesn't sound like a lot, but also if you get sick of the tea you could put some in yogurt or applesause ...

I'm new to this post, but not entirely new to cinnamon. I took it for a little while last year and have just started taking it again about two weeks ago. I like it better than Met for the stomach issues. My question is....How many mg can you take. I take the recommended dosage on the bottle, I think it is only 1,000. I was taking 1,500 mg of Met, should I up the cinnamon to maybe see/feel some results?? Hope this makes sense. lol, I tend to ramble sometimes.
Thanks,
Erin

Hi Girls! Lord it feels like I haven't been on in forever! I've been super busy with some work related projects and stuff and just havent had more than I dunno .5 seconds to myself lol! Hope that you are all doing well and for those of you who havent noticed a difference yet, it took me a couple months to notice anything, so there is still hope for you yet! On a more somber note, I dont know how many of you remember me mentioning my co-worker's 16 year old nephew who was diagnosed with bone cancer....... unfortunately he died late last night after putting up quite a good fight for almost a year, he would have been 17 next week, so if its not too much to ask if you could say a prayer for his family I know that they could use them right now.... thanks
Hope you have a great night and be back later!
Joanna, im so sorry to hear that. I will pray for their family.
How is everyone doing? Fine I hope
