Hello, sorry for the delay in response: Ive been taking Vitex twice a day, 500mg, and I take it until my cycle start and then once its done I start again.Since my last post I took a test and got a BFN soo, Im starting the Vitex agian but I will also take Dong Quai with it. Have anyone taken Dong Quia before?... I dont check my temp..That may be a good idea

Hi Ladies! I just started taking Vitex around Xmas time. I am taking 240 mg's a day. I should have had my period the other week and just started to spot a litle bit yesterday. Is this normal for being on the Vitex? I was taking Estro Sense before (told to take the wrong thing!)
My first cycle on vitex (last cycle) i spotted for like 5 days before af and i'm on to my 3rd day spotting after af. Not sure if its the vitex or just a weird af.

Hi gals! Well I'm on cd23 today and have started spotting. Looks like another annov cycle. Af will likely be here in full force by tomorrow. Not srue what to think of Vitex now. I've been on it since Oct.6th so it's been just over 3 months. I know some of you have said that it can take up to 6 months to 'kick-in'. Do I keep hanging in there until the end of March?? What do you think??

I know that it took me about six months on vitex and now I am regular im not ttcing yet but am getting ready so am useing the vitex more to just get myself regulated so when I am ready to ttc it'll be easier for me. I know some women have to fool around with the brands and pill versus liquid before they get results maybe try a new brand or try liquid if your on the pill form. Or are you taking the highest for your brand of vitex

Dana~ I ov'd back in early September when I took Soy Isoflavones (my RE thought I was taking Clomid) during a monitored cycle with my RE. Sadly that ended in a chemical pg. My RE wanted me to make more follicles (b/c of dh's male factor) so he had me do a Clomid/Femara combo and it was a complete bust! No follies and a really thin lining. I was sooo upset and frustrated so dh and I decided to take yet another break from the RE. Because of the chemical pg my RE wanted me to take progesterone during my 2ww so I thought that taking Vitex would be a more overall "fix" for my issues, that's why I decided to try that instead of go back to Soy. Now I'm starting to regret it. I haven't ov'd since September. Today is my third day of spotting so af should be here anytime now. It's weird though I haven't typically spotted this much before af since I've been on Vitex. Usually I have a bit of spotting at night and the next day by noon I get full af.

Mommy1 - I know Vitex makes AF ligher, that happened to me. Sometimes heavy for maybe 1 day after days of spotting and then almost gone. If you are impatient maybe take a Vitex break for 1 month just to see especially if you feel that it may not be working for you.

I'm here! I'm not sure what is happeneing with this cycle but hoping I will ovulate. I've just starting getting over a horrible cold/flu that lasted a whole week! I don't know if it will delay ovulation or not. I've been having ewcm for days now.
How is everyone else doing??
