Is anyone out there taking part in any type of clinical trial? If so, what has your experience been like?
I'm having pretty good luck with natural solutions, but my doctor is pressuring me to enter this trial that involves Metformin (which I have not been on for a while and am not anxious to get back on).
I did a diet study - high protein/high fibre and its impact on insulin resistance.
I've always been keen to do a drug trial just for the $$$ but most of them here you have to have no pre-existing medical conditions or a medical condition unrelated to PCOS.

Why is your doctor pressuring you to do a clinical trial if you're doing well with what you're doing? That doesn't make much sense to me. I think your intuition about not wanting to do the trial is right on the money.

Feel free to ask me about hyperprolactinemia though, just had my prolactinoma removed through brain surgery. Happier and healthier already... To view links or images in signatures your post count must be 0 or greater. You currently have 0 posts.
