Default clinique warning!!!

Hi everyone,
Just thought I might let you know something I read... Ok here goes;
A wile ago i tested products from clinique and was not really happy with it. my face got spotty as well as dry and sore (!!) I accidently got over info on a website where loads of women had experienced problems while using clinique. Perhaps this is not the case for everyone but maybe worth bearing in mind?
take care

Cool clinique okay for me

I've used clinique lipsticks (almost lipstick plus pink chocolate, pinkberry stain and guava stain) and lipglosses, loose powder (transparency 2), eyeshadow (lemongrass), foundation (pore-minimizing foundation and healthy makeup) , soap (for type 2 skin), toner (for type 2 skin), powder (superpowderdoublefacepowder covers great but looks a little too thick and cakey), and mascara (naturally glossy mascara).

None of them has caused me problems at all so I thought it was only fair to stick up for them. They are not always my favorite for all things (although some of their products are really good like the mascara and toner and lipstick) but I just thought I should mention they have never aggravated my acne.

It might be different from person to person so I respect what anyone has to say if it has been a problem for them. And I can only talk about the products I have used.

But just to give a more balanced point of view, I wanted to share that I personally have used a lot of clinique, for what it's worth, and have no problem with them.

I too have never had a problem with clinique. I love it. The only problem I have is that I can't afford to use it all the time. I even use the 3 step cleansing program they have and it's the only thing that has ever cleared my face up without over drying and making my face flaky.

On the other hand, my best friend hates clinique. She says it always makes her break out. I guess it's just different for everyone.

I too love Clinique. I always buy my products when they have the free stuff. I haven't bought a lipstick in years. I love the superpowder double face powder. It covers all my blotchiness and my "beard." Sorry you had such a bad experience.

I have had pretty good success with Clinique. I use the 3 step program, but I don't use their regular cleansing bar. Instead, I substituted their acne bar and then I follow it with my rx (Cleocin-T). My endocrinologist was impressed with my skin, but I still do breakout on occasion. I don't think any soap or med is going to completely clear it up.

I like Clinique makeup but the facial system doesn't do a thing for me.

Clinique just makes me break out in spots and drys my skin too, like anything I suppose, depends on the individual, but I do find Estee Lauder is lovely for my skin, the creams and the make-up, I've had thew facal wash too

I thought I was the only one who had trouble with clinque, because everyone that I know loves it except for me. Their foundations turn orange on me, but worse is what happens to my skin when I use the skincare line. My mom first noticed that when she used the yellow lotion, it made her face peel, and after trying other Clinque products, she is convinced the yellow coloring made her allergic. I used to use the 3 step system regularly until I noticed I got rashes, but I thought it was the soap. Got off that for a few years, but tried the lotion recently. Big mistake because my entire face got so dry it was crusty and my skin burned.

Finally went to the store today to get some other products that are supposed to be for sensitive skin. I really hope they are better than this.
